Part 2 - Michigan Weekend

After leaving Schoolcraft, we headed back to Galien for Apple picking. We tried out a different place from years past. It was called Springhope Farm. The owners were super friendly and the orchard was lovely. There was even an area of picnic tables where we sat to eat.

The kids enjoyed running in the orchard and picking the apples from the trees. The day was perfect. The weather was nice, the kids were good and the bees stayed away! Paula and I were just sorry our hubbies couldn't make it for the day.

Looks like fun!

Funny story about apples...We went to Shipshewana one year and we saw some apples we wanted to purchase while there. After buying them we were talking to the lady and she told us they came from Casnovia...which is like 5 minutes from our house. We laughed to think we went to IN to buy apples from our back yard!!!

L.O.L. That is really funny. It's okay. We have an orchard just 10 minutes from my house, but they are not Michigan apples!
